In it I demonstrate a bunch of character voices, all of them me (including the sound effects) without using any fancy voice effects beyond the noises made by my own throat.

I love doing voice overs. In the Edd Egg cartoons I've done nearly 30 or so voices so far. So if anyone out there is looking for a voice over, even if it's for "Soldier Number 2", I'd love to voice over for anything. Naturally I prefer humour/toony animations, but hell I'm game for anything (oo-er!). Just give me a PM or something.

And on the subject of Edd Egg, the Halloween special is in the works which I hope to release in the next couple of weeks. I'll be entering it in the Newgrounds Halloween 2008 compo, where I'd hope to second. Why second you ask? The part I did was Scene 36, probably the least animated of the animations, but from the comments it's still getting high praise, which is amazing considering I'm sharing an animation alongside the likes of Newgrounds celebs Egoraptor and JohnnyUtah. I'll be putting up my scene on http://www.eddegg.com on it's own soon but I recommend you check out the collab and the other animations involved. My personal faves are LeftHandedSock and BRS.

EDIT: Extended praise goes out to my buddy, Mark Cunnah, who provided the voice of the other guard ("Oh that's right! Just point a claymore mine RIGHT towards us!").

New Edd Egg episode is now up oveeeeeeeeeeer - HERE!

It's based on the news story about a hidden tribe discovered in Peru. Admittedly the news story was a month ago and now the flash isn't so "current events" but I thought it was still a good 'un anyway!

The next episode may be a little way off yet so I'm am now beginning the process of moving home which'll delay animations. I've got a couple of ideas that may still be able to get done on time for the monthly-ish updates but we'll see.

I made a simple game based on Smash Bros Brawl as part of April Fools this year. I haven't posted it on NG as it's a bit basic/jokey and I wouldn't like people to brand me negatively for it.

I posted a new Edd Egg Animation yesterday over here, and it reached 6th place in the top ten, which is nice!

About 12:30 on New Years Eve 2007, I had the idea for the animation and couldn't resist not doing it (even though the animation was about New Years Eve and there wasn't much time). 5 hours later I had scripted it, recorded all the lines and animated the entire thing. There were corners cut, such as one character having no mouth (just his beard moved) but I like pace and daffy-ness of the finished thing.

Considering the previous animation (the Edd Egg Christmas Special) took two months to make, to complete this in 5 hours is a big feat for me! It also opens up possibilities to future animations being made more quicker and more relevent to current events. It's certainly something worth exploring!

As previously mentioned, the next Edd Egg Animation will be a Christmas special. It's also quite a long episode, hence why there isn't one for November. I may even have to split in two parts, such as part one for just before Christmas and part two around New Year. I'll see how I get on.

I've even put my daily blog, Bollox Comics, on hold until this is done. I may not start updating it again until New Year. I haven't fully decided so we'll wait and see.

So, until the new Edd Egg Animation is completed (or at least Part One is completed), enjoy this animation I made called The Adventures Of Simon. It's not on Newgrounds because being a very very short animation, I wasn't sure how those sorts of animations faired on NG. I would hate to get "blammed" for it. Also it's slightly NSFW but only because of the language, no naughty images or anything like that. Click here to see it.

The next Edd Egg Animations episode won't be up until Early December as it's a BIG one and also (predictably) a Christmas episode! If I find time I might make some shorts as a filler but I'm not sure how well they would bode on Newgrounds (by shorts I mean, like 10-20 seconds). I've uploaded a couple of the very first Edd Egg Animations made earlier this year. There'll be one more tomorrow.
